Löwenstein family

1520 - present

What happens when a family has been growing grapes in the same place since 1520? Business as usual? Actually, the only constant has always been change.

The Heymann-Löwenstein winery was founded in 1980 by Reinhard Löwenstein and Cornelia Heymann-Löwenstein. As the 14th generation, Sarah Löwenstein has provided decisive impetus over the last 10 years.

Now the winery has been handed over. Thomas Dörr will continue the tradition with the support of Jochen Heigoldt.

The seasons, the slate, and the dedication of many people guarantee that the wines of “Heymann-Löwenstein” will continue to fascinate and delight in the future.
